1. Recruitment Phases:
The recruitment process is structured into two primary phases:

Phase I: Online Computer-Based Written Examination (Online CEE).
Phase II: Recruitment Rally by Army Recruiting Offices (AROs) at designated locations.

Candidates who qualify in Phase I will be eligible to participate in Phase II.

2. Categories and Eligibility Criteria:

Agniveer (General Duty) [All Arms]:
Educational Qualification:** Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17½ to 21 years (Born between 01-10-2003 to 01-04-2007).
Physical Standards: Height – 170 cm; Chest – 77 cm (+5 cm expansion); Weight – Proportionate to height and age.

Agniveer (Technical) [All Arms]:
Educational Qualification: 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with 50% aggregate marks and 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17½ to 21 years.
Physical Standards: Height – 170 cm; Chest – 77 cm (+5 cm expansion); Weight – Proportionate to height and age.

Agniveer (Clerk/Store Keeper Technical) [All Arms]
Educational Qualification: 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% aggregate marks and 50% in each subject. Must have studied and passed English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class X or Class XII with 50% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: 17½ to 21 years.
Physical Standards: Height – 162 cm; Chest – 77 cm (+5 cm expansion); Weight – Proportionate to height and age.

Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass) [All Arms]:**
Educational Qualification: Class 10th simple pass.
Age Limit: 17½ to 21 years.
Physical Standards: Height – 170 cm; Chest – 76 cm (+5 cm expansion); Weight – Proportionate to height and age.

Agniveer Tradesmen (8th Pass) [All Arms]:
Educational Qualification: Class 8th simple pass.
Age Limit: 17½ to 21 years.
Physical Standards: Height – 170 cm; Chest – 76 cm (+5 cm expansion); Weight – Proportionate to height and age.

3. Application Process:

Registration: Candidates must register online through the official Indian Army website. The registration window for the 2024-25 cycle was open from 13th February 2024 to 22nd March 2024.

Application Fee: A fee of Rs. 250/- is applicable for all categories. Payment can be made via Internet Banking, UPI, Credit, or Debit Card.

4. Selection Process

Phase I: Online Computer-Based Written Examination (CEE).

Phase II Recruitment Rally, including Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Medical Examination.

5. Important Dates:

Online Registration: 13th February 2024 to 22nd March 2024.

Online CEE: Commenced on 22nd April 2024.

Recruitment Rally: Dates and venues were announced post-CEE results.

6. Rally Schedule

Recruitment rallies are organized by various Army Recruiting Offices (AROs) across India. Candidates are advised to check the official Indian Army website or contact their respective AROs for detailed rally schedules specific to their regions.

7. Training and Service Tenure:

Training Duration: 10 weeks to 6 months, depending on the category.

Service Tenure: Agniveers will serve for a period of 4 years under the Agnipath Scheme. Post this tenure, based on organizational requirements and policies, up to 25% of Agniveers may be selected for enrolment in the regular cadre.

8. Remuneration:

First Year: Rs.30,000/- per month.

Second Year: Rs. 33,000/- per month.

Third Year: Rs.36,500/- per month.

Fourth Year: Rs.40,000/- per month.

Agniveers will also receive a one-time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package upon completion of their tenure, amounting to approximately Rs.11.71 lakhs, which includes their contribution and matching contribution from the Government, along with interest.

9. Additional Information:

Admit Cards: Issued online prior to the examination. Candidates must download and print their admit cards from the official website.
